Specific Technologies that could be used and why they are effective
Technologies are playing a more and more important role in today’s class. Because of their existence, students are more interested and get more involved into today's classroom activities. There are many different technologies available for us to use in a classroom nowadays:
Technology is playing a more and more important role in today's life. If we are the immigrant of technology, our students are the natives. They grow up and are immersed in technology. They are curious to know and interested in using them, because technology is just like a printed book to us, necessary and mandatory.
As a teacher, I can use technology to motivate and involve my students into the class. For example, I can use SMART Board to let them leave their seat and work with me and with the whole class; I can use Clickers to get everybody participate in a survey or review or preview; I can use Camtasia to guide them online after class; I can teach them to use Skype so that they can discuss with each other about their project without physically meeting each other in a building; I can assign them homework and let them present their homework online as a website... There are too many ways to use them.
